The TIA and ISO Standards development bodies have spent many months finalizing details on new generic requirements for high bandwidth cabling in preparation for their technical review by the industry. This is no small feat considering the fact that category 6 and 7 cabling offers two and six times the bandwidth capacity of category 5e, respectively.
