Standard Electric and Sylvania To Reward Environmentally-Friendly Businesses

Standard Electric has paired up with OSRAM Sylvania to form a new ECO Certification Program designed to educate users and expand the use of environmentally friendlier lighting products. It's part of Standard Electric's long-standing commitment to cost-effective, energy-efficient practices.

Through Standard Electric, installers who set a minimal use level of 75% Sylvania Ecologic Lighting in an end-user installation will be awarded with an "ECO Certification Award." Sylvania will also notify local press of the certified business' commitment to the environment, and present them with a handsome plaque to display in their business. Standard Electric carries the full line of Sylvania Ecologic products, which feature energy-efficiency, longer service life, and TCLP-passing eco-friendly components.
