Have you ever given much thought to what our Credit Department does? Or what our Credit Department can do for you?

Probably not. Well, there's a good reason why you can expect more from the Credit Department at Standard Electric.

First of all, we are responsible for a number of daily jobs including invoicing clients, collecting bills, resolving problems and disagreements and most importantly for our clients, extending credit.

Before we extend a line of credit to any customer, we check their credit record-how fast they pay their bills, how long they've been in business, how much current debt they have, etc. By checking their creditworthiness, we can determine who qualifies for a line of credit, and for how much they qualify. Just as we will establish criteria to determine whether or not a customer poses a credit risk, we can also do the same for you with your current or prospective customers. By running reports from Dun and Bradstreet, TRW and the National Association of Credit Management (NACM), credit reporting companies, we can help you determine your customer's creditworthiness.
