Hammond Introduces “Eclipse Jr. Series” Enclosures

Ideal for industrial OEMs, MROs and contractors, Hammond’s new Eclipse Jr. NEMA enclosure updates the traditional clamp cover box with a number of meaningful design improvements.

Access has been made easier with a single quarter-turn latch. With only one latch to secure, there’s less likelihood of time-rushed users leaving the cover open and unsealed. It also provides superior sealing for better protection against contaminants.

The commonly painted back plates have been replaced with a galvanized panel which provides for easier grounding. In the past, back panels needed to be scratched bare of their paint to achieve metal-to-metal conductivity.
