Wolfers Lighting, Standard Electric's retail lighting showroom, has big things in store for its Waltham, Massachusetts location in 2000. Starting this Spring, the Waltham showroom will undergo a complete interior renovation. Said Jeff Seigal, Wolfers' Residential Division Manager, "The plan to renovate the Waltham store came in response to the overwhelming praise our Allston store has received since its renovation in 1998."

In Allston, Wolfers' designers created an atmosphere in which every product
would be shown in its best light. The new showroom layout gives customers a compelling and realistic feel for how the lighting will appear in its intended setting. Included in the plans were lighting "labs" for the kitchen, bathroom and living room - as well as labs for outdoor lighting and art displays. In 1999, Wolfers' showrooms were selected as the Best of Boston.

While the Waltham store certainly has a tough act to follow, the new showroom promises to have its own unique personality - and maybe even a few surprises - when it is unveiled in the fall of 2000. The Waltham store will remain open for business while the renovations are taking place.
